As celluloid becomes an increasingly rare commodity, here’s your opportunity to create your own pen using this beautiful material in combination with exotic woods, precious metals, carbon fibre or resin and very exciting finishes including hand-etching and low-relief engraving to create something unique that has meaning to you.

Customize the Pen of Your Dreams

With the Montegrappa Configurator you can hand-pick finishes and colours for eight different pen components. There is a wealth of options to choose the effects and contrasts you can achieve. Naturally your palette includes the full colour range from Montegrappa’s famous celluloid stockpile, but much more besides – including premium woods, engraved precious metals, and cache of brand-new ideas in low-relief engraved resin or carbon fibre. Just find the style that works for you – or a special somebody.

You’re invited to do as you please with the Extra – their flagship Signature Class pen and a time-tested classic which is available in piston-fed fountain pen and rollerball modes. The Extra offers an incredible handle and writing experience. The Montegrappa Configurator fountain pens feature ebonite feeders and 18 carat gold nibs in a wide range of grades.

Create your pen using the configurator from either desktop or mobile. A specially developed rendering engine shows you your changes quickly in high definition and with real-time price updates. See your pen from any angle using the viewer to see your pen in open or closed position from any angle. When your design is finished, just click to buy or save your work for another day. Starting prices are comparable to Montegrappa production pens sold through authorised dealers.

Once your order has been placed the Montegrappa workshop immediately gets started on building your creation, made and finished to the exacting standards that Montegrappa’s name is known for. Then it is packed in a deluxe wooden presentation case with a personalised name plaque, shipped from beautiful Bassano del Grappa direct to your door. Each pen arrives within two weeks of order placement, complete with a certificate and a two-year guarantee.
