Francois-Paul Journe is an independent watchmaker whose first work, an Octa Réserve de marche watch from 2003, will be featured in this recent sale in Monaco. On the vintage side, iconic pieces such as a Speedmaster ref. 2998-6 from the early 1960s will be on exhibit. The ref. 2998, which was introduced in 1959, is without a doubt the most sought-after model in the Speedmaster collection.
