About the Fragrance
A powerfully fragrant illusion of a newly picked sprig emerges at the centre of the bouquet. As the lily-of-the-valley fragrance is characterised as “silent,” recreating it is a true olfactory feat. Guerlain’s Muguet, created by Master Perfumer Thierry Wasser, combined green and rosy undertones that together create a spring environment for the luscious floral components that fill his composition: jasmine sambac absolute, rose essence, and absolute. A powerfully fragrant illusion of a newly picked sprig emerges at the centre of the bouquet, an epitome of spring.
About the Jewel
The sprig of lily-of-the-valley, whose tiny bells are encrusted with crystals, and the leaves enamelled in brilliant green, make up the gem. To make it, the first step is to fashion precious metals using a difficult, old technique known as lost-wax casting. The Atelier Truscelli has perfected the procedure, which allows jewellers to cast intricate, single-piece creations down to the slightest details.
