Each year, LTI - Luxury Travel Intelligence rigorously reviews and shares its report of the World’s Best Luxury Hotel Brands. No one else in the world provides such up-to-date comprehensive research at this calibre for the luxury traveller.
LTI - Luxury Travel Intelligence has spent the last year perfecting their assessment process: a rigorously defined algorithm that measures the performance and values of luxury hotel brands. Their algorithm has 128 touch points relevant to the luxury hotel sector this year. Each has its own weighted score value, for a total accumulative score of 4628.
What makes their assessments to different?
LTI accepts no advertising or sponsorship, their research is self-funded through subscriptions which empowers them to be truthful so that their members can be assured that they are their top priority. Some of the top writers and researchers in the field are part of their extensive global network. Each are experts at providing insider-style intelligence and have a thorough attention to detail.
With their system for analysis, the touch points are not related to the success of specific properties, but rather to brand performance overall. The ability of a brand to deliver is the main focus, along with its passion, dedication, ethos, and values, as well as the calibre of its management and workforce.
No other organisation has the same connections to the world’s luxury hotel sector as LTI.
Our researchers interact with thousands of managements, staff members, and customers in addition to the CEOs of the brands we have assessed. All of this is necessary to provide destination-led reports for our members, who are wealthy, discriminating travellers, but it also enables us to produce this particular report.
The procedure is repeated each year, thus the outcomes of earlier years have no influence on those of the current year. Each year’s results will unavoidably be volatile as a result, but this is a dynamic industry, and we want to reflect what is actually taking place there.
