Jaeger-LeCoultre announces the opening of its first two boutiques in Canada – Vancouver and Toronto – offering new meeting places for Fine Watchmaking lovers.
Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated its first Canadian Boutique in Vancouver, giving the Grande Maison another prestigious destination to showcase its creations in the heart of thriving Alberni Street amidst a revamped interior design pervaded by a sense of discreet luxury, serene intimacy and modern refinement. Great attention to detail runs throughout, in the use of materials, interior design and use of space, the finishings including the raised patterns of mountains in the upper part of the walls, the repeated geometric patterns, the fine wood, brilliant lighting that makes the shoppe sparkle and many other details that only those inside the brand would notice, but all play a role in forming this fabulous space that houses some of the most incredible timepieces, jewelry and complications in the world; when you step into a Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique, you are stepping into a place where luxury lives.
The new Boutique offers a unique 82-square-meter area devoted to the Manufacture’s timepieces, highlighting the expertise and excellence of its watchmaking experts from the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. The interior sparkles, radiating a quiet elegance, distinct details that pay homage to the past, present and future. Timeless touches of Art Deco run throughout, patterns and details significant to the history of the brand; a reference to the game changing watch, the “Reverso”, which came out in the 1930s, the time period of Art Deco, expressed in the linear and geometric lines on the watch and carried out in the design throughout the store.
Infinitely more than just a boutique, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique in Toronto located in Canada’s premier shopping destination, Yorkdale, will also highlight the horological icons and latest collections of the Brand, such as the Reverso, the Rendez-Vous, the Master, the Geophysic, the Duomètre, and the Deep Sea lines in a 60-square-meter area.
“Jaeger-LeCoultre has experienced rapid growth in the United States over the last few years, this is now the right time for us to bring the Manufacture to Canada by opening our first two Boutiques and complete our network of distribution. Vancouver represents a real opportunity for the Brand to radiate on the Pacific Rim and being exposed to a cosmopolitan clientele that aspires to discover and own beautiful objects. This international and cultural diversity is very prominent in Toronto as well and we believe in the growth potential for the luxury industry and for our business in particular” Jaeger-
LeCoultre North America President Philippe Bonay says.
Both Vancouver and Toronto boutiques will turn the spotlight on the creativity and inventive spirit of the Manufacture, two themes that have been part of the Brand since 1833. A true place of hospitality, of encounters and of discoveries thanks to its lounge intended for collectors, Brand devotees and for all connoisseurs who want to experience a true authentic horological experience, with refinement and quietness.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has now 11 boutiques in North America: Beverly Hills, Boca Raton, Encore at the Wynn Las Vegas, Costa Mesa, Palm Beach, Aventura, New York, Miami Design District, The Forum Shops Las Vegas, Vancouver and Toronto.
Canadian actress and friend of the Brand Sarah Gadon joined the event to celebrate this new home for Jaeger-LeCoultre, and inaugurated the venue with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Daniel Riedo, President North America Philippe Bonay and Rodeo Jewellers Owners Rita and Vic Horozian.
Sarah Gadon accessorized her look by wearing her elegant and feminine Rendez-Vous Night & Day watch, magnified by the setting of its diamonds.
