Brief History of Fashion Designer, Antonio Berardi
With an innate appreciation for fashion and design, his passion for fashion sprouted at a young age. This British, Italian born designer, Antonio Berardi pursued formal fashion education, interrupted momentarily replaced by real-life education for a time, when he was accepted and began working as an assistant to John Galliano. Eventually, entered the halls of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts London after which his fashion career catapulted.
His talents were recognized early and his name and designs on the rise both working on his own namesake label as well as at Ruffo Research, later partnering with Extè, then becoming the label’s head designer, all the while still producing his own label. He began exclusively dedicate all his time to his own label in 2001.
