Chaumet is set to present the exhibition The Worlds of Chaumet, at the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum of Tokyo, from June 28th to September 17, 2018 The exhibition features a new journey through its history, culture, savoir-faire and style. The historical link that the Maison has built with the Arts is echoed by the vocation of the most “European” of Japanese museums, dedicated to the fine and visual arts. Nature’s delicacy provides never-ending inspiration to the more than 300 jewellery creations dating from the 18th century to today, object’s d’art, paintings and drawings, an a number of archives previously unseen, that will be on display to the public. THE DK01 MM TORC by The DK01 Torc Series is a consequence of a study of ancient neck rings throughout history: The Torc as a sensual object and an object of empowerment, once it is placed on the neck in its specific location, it automatically shifts the posture, hence the state of mind. A Torc is a single piece rigid neck ring open at the front. It was mainly worn by men as a medal or trophy to demonstrate rank, strength, and power. McLaren Automotive, creator of luxury, high-performance sportscars and supercars, has for the very first time, donated a bespoke McLaren 570S Spider to the Elton John AIDS Foundation which was auctioned at the Argento Ball in association with BVLGARI & Bob and Tamar Manoukian on Wednesday, June 27 2018. Charitable Giving Every pound of the £725,000 it raised will be going to the Foundation to help with its goal of creating an AIDS-free future for everybody. Ascot Racecourse will open its gates for five days of world-class racing, pageantry, high fashion and Fine Dining from Tuesday 19th – Saturday 23rd June 2018. The sale encompasses over 130 lots and includes a broad selection of works from renowned designers such as Harry Bertoia, George Nakashima, Frank Lloyd Wright, Claude Lalanne, and Carlo Scarpa.
